We partner with a number of organizations doing meaningful work in our community, state, and world.

Self Help Interfaith Program: SHIP is a volunteer, faith-based ecumenical program that strives to help employable, homeless adults get back on their feet. Multiple churches and faith traditions including King of Glory actively support SHIP. The program is designed for unhoused single adults to transition from homeless status to self-sufficiency with employment and permanent housing.

Thrivent is a holistic financial services organization, providing advice, investments, insurance, banking and generosity programs and solutions so people can make the most of all they’ve been given.

Lutheran Social Services of Southern California: Embraces those in crisis, with short-term, emergency services Equips individuals and families, with program resources to help them on their journey Empowers people to break the cycle of poverty, live with dignity and become self-sufficient.

GAD Kenya, through Go and Do Likewise, Inc., is a partner ministry of our congregation, and with King of Victory Church in Rionchogu, Kenya.

The Greater Huntington Beach Interfaith Council is a gathering of representatives of faith based communities and individuals dedicated to understanding, respecting, promoting and celebrating spiritual and cultural diversity.

Habitat for Humanity is a global ministry to which we are connected locally through the Orange County Lutheran Coalition. KOG is blessed to have a liaison with this organization who keeps us informed about opportunities to get involved.

RefugeLink.com is a resource to assist those finding themselves in need of food, housing, medical treatment, etc.  It is a service made possible through the ministries of Refuge Calvary Chapel in Huntington Beach.  Click on the button below to locate services available in your area.
