The return of KOG’s Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper was a big hit! Thanks to everyone who attended and a hearty thank you to our chefs, otherwise known as the Culinary Masters. 🙂
In addition to pancakes, sausage and bacon, there was also a specially baked “King Cake,” which is a Mardi Gras tradition. Each of the colors of the cake is said to have a special meaning: green signifies faith, the gold signifies power, and the purple denotes justice.
