The shamrock can represent the holy trinity: The father, the son and the Holy Spirit. The three leaves of the shamrock are also sad to stand for faith, hope and love.
“…the fruit of the spirit is Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” Galatians 5:22
Prayer for February
Oh Lord, thank you for being my Lord. You love me so much to help me through every stage of my life. You are always on my side guiding me and directing me. Let my life reflect my love for you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.” 1 Corinthians 13:4
“Joy to the world, the Lord has come! Let earth receive her King.”
This carol was written by Isaac Watts in 1719. The thrill of hope within the message touches our hearts and encourages us all. The impact on earth of Christ birth will never diminish. This is the season to rejoice. We rejoice at the thought of the Savior’s birth. His purpose, and his inheritance.
What will you rejoice about this Christmas season?
The prayer warriors extend grace and love to all. Merry Christmas!
Be thankful!!
“This is the day that the lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24
“Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise.” Psalm 100:4
“Praise the Lord! Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His faithful love endures forever.” Psalm 106:1
“Thanks be to God for His indescribable gifts!” 2 Corinthians 9:15
“And on that day we will say, Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name. Make known His deeds among the peoples, make them remember that his name is exalted. Praise the Lord in song, for He has done glorious things, let this be known throughout the earth.” Isaiah 12:4-5
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day from the Prayer Warriors
October brings oranges and blacks to color our stores and offices and some homes, too. With thoughts of candy filling some children’s minds. But October 31 is more than this. It is our Reformation Day. Here we understand God’s grace through faith. Enjoy Ephesians 2:8,9:
“It is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast.”
Blessings to all from the prayer warriors!!
As the months pass by, we take time to enjoy the seasons. We are into fall now. Fall can be a season of change, a season of transition and a season of renewal. Leaves are transforming from deep summer shades of green to brown ones, floating down from the trees. There is something fun about hearing them crunch as you step on them. That’s God saying don’t forget me during your schedule; kids to school, college students away, and just being busy with everyday life. Set aside time daily to pray for each member of your family and the friends you hold dear. If you find in your heart that praying for others comes easy then join us Mondays at 3 o’clock in Little Ed. Or ask for a prayer information sheet to be sent to you so you can pray at home, on your own time, for the church community. Thank you and God bless.
Blessings to all from the prayer warriors!!
Busyness and stress can heat up quicker than the summer sun. But it is possible to stay cool on the inside. God’s strength and peace can ensure a less stressful summer. Yes, we can receive God’s calm, even in a busy and sometimes stressful time of year.
Try these out:
- focus on all the good things God has done for you so far this year.
- take daily mini vacations. Try to set aside at least five minutes every hour to stretch, take a break, and stay committed to your time and God’s word each day.
- when you take time off from your daily routine, unplug completely, meeting no phone or emails, for your kids too.
- do something for yourself once a week like read a good book, spend time outdoors, or take a nap.
Blessings to all from the prayer warriors!!
Freedom! It is a word that describes all kinds of situations, cherished liberties and emotions. However, the freedom we find in Jesus is one of the greatest gifts our God brings to us. We can experience this real freedom if we make Jesus our Lord, devote ourselves to God’s word and are then filled with the Holy Spirit, allowing him to direct our lives.
You, my brothers were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature, rather serve one another in love.
Galatians 5:13
Blessings to all!
In June we say, “thanks, dad!” … for all you do and have done! Like keeping us levelheaded. And being a wonderful mentor and best friend.
But to the greatest dad of all…our Lord. We say that you are amazing. You are a rock we can lean on. You believe in us and show us the way. You bring words of wisdom to our world. You bring love and happiness to our lives. Praise to Abba!
Blessings to all!
In this month of May we wish to lift up all mothers. Grace and joy are sent their way. The devotion they have bestowed on their children is appreciated beyond words. We remember Jesus’ mother, Mary and how she cared for the most important child ever born. Life could not continue without mothers’ guidance.
Blessings to mothers from the prayer warriors!

What wonderful words!!
The Resurrection of Jesus is the most awe-inspiring event in the history of the world. Jesus overcame death.
Dear Jesus, we praise you for taking control of this world. The world can be a cruel place sometimes. But you are in control of our life and you have defeated death. We praise you! Amen
Blessings to all!

HOPE
The future can be a scary thing, with so many uncertainties. But no matter how dark our circumstances and difficult our path we are never alone. Real hope gives us purpose now and forever. When we have faith in Christ, we have hope not only in this life, but the next. The future, while uncertain can be entrusted in God, and He will help us through!
“A thrill of hope, a weary world rejoices,
for yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.”
“For if God is for us who can be against us?”
Blessings to all!
This Christmas season is going to be hard for all of us. Especially since we are currently in a pandemic crisis. But we are so privileged because we have our God with us.
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13
The members of the prayer warriors wish you the best Christmas. Blessings to all!!
Whatever today brings, I will let God handle it!!
When having trouble letting go of problems or challenges delve into the Bible and read God’s promises. God is never standing around wondering what to do. From the smallest to the biggest problem, if we let go of our worries and let God handle them, God always comes through.
Dear Lord, help us to cast our cares on you, knowing that when we let you handle them, you always have the best solution. Amen.
Blessings to you, your family and friends!
September 11 is a date that imprints our national consciousness. The knowledge of what happens tomorrow is uncertain. But whatever unlooked-for events the next day may bring, God is with us, today, tomorrow and forever.
Lord, your love and protection is the one true thing that we can count on. He’s always ahead of us, guiding our way through all uncertainty.
Blessings to you, your family and friends!
Blessings from your church’s prayer warriors.
As the sun rises, Lord, let your light shine on us. The warmth of your presence. The brightness of your love. The radiance of your joy. The shining of your hope. Let your light shine on us. As the sun rises Lord let your light shine on us. Amen.
June is finally here. What does that mean in our world now? We are still here God please keep us safe from health issues. Praising and pausing to dig deeper into God’s word will give us the strength we all need. For, “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.” Psalms 24:1. Sometimes it is easy to forget who we are in Christ. When the world or circumstances and others threaten us. But we can cling to the truth of our identity in Christ. We are known and loved!
Why did God make so many flowers? All the many different flowers are not necessary. Although, flowers have some purposes, one kind of flower in one single color could’ve been made to meet all the needs. But God wants us to know his great love for us. So He has given us this beauty. When flowers are seen blooming life feels so much more manageable. For it is inevitable that on occasion we will feel the weariness of life weighing us down. But we can always ask the Lord to renew our spiritual strength. With His help we can face and rise above our stresses and bloom!!!
Usual time is Mondays at 3:15 pm in Little Ed, to help us pray for our church community. Thank you! (Due to circumstances beyond our control, we are not physically meeting at the present time, but we continue to pray.)
