Outreach Ministry | King of Glory Lutheran Church

Our mission statement reminds us that we are sent into the world to bear witness to the love of God in Christ.

GAD Kenya is a partner ministry of our congregation with Kenyoro Christian Fellowship in Rionchogu, Kenya.

The KOG Preschool is a critical part of the loving care we provide for the families in our community.

Habitat for Humanity is a global ministry to which we are connected locally through the Orange County Lutheran Coalition. KOG is blessed to have a liaison with this organization who keeps us informed about opportunities to get involved.

Igreja Nova Alianca is a multi-denominational ministry to the Brazilian community in Orange County which shares space on the King of Glory campus.

Facility Use is available for groups like the Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, AA, Al-Anon, and other non-profit organizations. This is an important part of our congregation’s community outreach.

ELCA Mission Support. We take 10% of the income from regular giving by our members and send it off to support the larger work of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and the Pacifica Synod. These funds support a wide array of ministries that we simply could not do on our own.

Extra-Mile Giving provides support to a number of ministry partnerships which extend our outreach from the local community all around the world.
