A Brief Overview of Our Life Together
King of Glory Lutheran Church
To Know Christ, Grow in Christ, and Go in Christ.
To be a congregation that is a vibrant, joyful reflection of the love of God in Jesus Christ within our community, church, and world.
Our Guiding Principles (Values):
- The heart of our faith is the gift of Godís love and mercy given to the world in Jesus Christ.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish, but may have eternal life." John 3:16
"But now, apart from the law, the righteousness of God has been disclosed, and is attested by the law and the prophets, the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction since all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God: they are now justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ JesusÖ" Romans 3:21-24
- 2. The heart of our congregationís ministry is helping people to make and to deepen their connections with God and with one another, so that we can experience and share the fullness of life that God intends for us.
"I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly" John 10:10b
- We are a diverse body of believers, united by our faith in Christ.
"For as in one body we have many members, and not all the members have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ and individually, we are members of one another." Romans 12:4-5
- The world will know that we are Christians by our love.
"I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." John 13:34-35
- Discipleship is a life-long process.
"The gifts he gave were that some would be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until all of us come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to maturity, to the measure of the full stature of Christ." Ephesians 4:12-13
- Every member is a minister.
"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, Godís own people, in order that you may proclaim the mighty acts of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light." 1 Peter 2:9
Our Larger Family:

Our Ministry Partners:
