Our Pastor

King of Glory Lutheran Church

Greetings from the people of God at
King of Glory Lutheran Church!

The mission of our congregation is simple: Know Christ, Grow in Christ, and Go in Christ. These mission images guide us in doing ministry in a way that invites everyone into a life-giving relationship with God through Jesus Christ (know), gives many opportunities to deepen our faith in God (grow), and sends us into the world to live as active agents of Godís love for the world in Christ (go).

You are welcome here! We are a neighborhood church with a big heart, an open mind, and outstretched arms. Come and see what God is doing in our midst. Worship with us, experience learning and spiritual growth opportunities with us, join us for times of fun and fellowship, and go with us to serve our community.

We are a congregation that is small enough to be very warm and personal, and yet we are blessed with such wonderfully gifted and generous people, that we can offer a little something for everyone. We look forward to seeing you at
King of Glory!

Pastor Kinndlee S. Lund

Pastor Kinndlee S. Lund

Pastor Lund grew up in Minot, North Dakota.  She has a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, Religion and Women's Studies from Concordia College, Moorhead, Minnesota, a Master of Divinity degree from the Divinity School of the University of Chicago, and did additional training at the Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago.

She worked as a Resident Chaplain in a trauma one hospital in a low income section of Chicago, and she served as an intern pastor at Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit in Chicago and at Trinity Lutheran Church in Pelican Rapids, Minnesota.  Her training has focused on pastoral care, multicultural ministry and ecumenical and interreligious dialogue.

She is passionate about helping people grow in faith by deepening their relationship with God and exploring their missional response to the needs of their neighbors.

She also has extensive training as a classical and choral singer and enjoys practicing yoga, running, reading, dancing Salsa, experiencing other cultures, and dreaming about building her own eco-friendly tiny house. Pastor Lund is 33 years old, engaged and plans to be married in 2015.

She previously served as the Associate Pastor of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brenham, Texas.
